KITTENS is a research-driven performance that explores the sense of horror evoked by technology when it edges too close to reality. Set at the margins of the uncanny valley, the piece operates on the delicate boundary between hyper-cuteness and the grotesque.

Drawing on kawaii aesthetics, digital subcultures, and sci-fi imagery, KITTENS constructs a disturbing emotional landscape where artificially controlled bodies and distorted gestures evoke both attraction and unease. Innocence becomes a site of tension, revealing the darker implications of technological progress and the ambiguity of a future in which the human and the artificial are increasingly entangled.
