BODY.LIGHT
For a Corsair Tale — Caravaggio. Mapplethorpe. Pasolini.

Body.Light is a journey through light and the body. A dance, performance, and installation project that brings three radical visions into tension. Caravaggio, Mapplethorpe, and Pasolini are not references here: they are active forces—shadows that carve the space, light that exposes, gazes that offer no refuge.

The stage language is born from friction: darkness and revelation, desire and wound, sacredness and exposure. Onstage, light does not “illuminate”: it strikes, cuts, interrupts. The body absorbs it and resists it. It falls, contracts, opens, endures. What emerges is a corsair tale—free and unruly—where the intimate becomes collective matter.

Chapter 1 — CHIAROSCURO
An action built on contrast: light fractures vision, isolates details, breaks the continuity of the gaze. The body becomes a sensitive skin crossed by shadow and sharp beams; identity never settles—it shifts, trembles, renegotiates itself, between control and surrender.

Chapter 2 — MERCY
A scene of contemporary pietas: fall and care, salvation and absence. Bodies poised between need and responsibility interrogate acts of mercy that are denied or incomplete, turning fragility into a necessary gesture—human, political, irreducible.
